In the event of a dispute, customers who are consumers can use the EU portal “Your Europe” at (http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/index_de.htm) to carry out an online arbitration procedure with the assistance of a recognized arbitration board.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution in accordance with Art. 14 Para. 1 ODR-VO (OS), which you can find at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ .
The online arbitration procedure is not a mandatory requirement for calling the competent courts. Rather, it represents an alternative way of eliminating differences that may arise in the context of a contractual relationship.
